For my final year at the SaloneSatellite 2010, I had become a little disillusioned with producing expensive one off prototypes of my designs and then transporting them for only 1 week of viewing. To this end I decided to stage a virtual prototype exhibition with 5 products designed by me then modelled and photo real rendered by Pablo Lucero in Argentina.
These products are free from the usual restrictions of budget and time associated with young designers and their exhibitions, allowing for a combination of conceptual and rational designs to be exhibited side by side. The 5 products were animated to form a 3D movie that was projected in my exhibition stand with viewers provided the very latest in 3D Cinema quality LCD Shutter glasses to view the products in 3D.
